On another swimming pool job I was operating the Gunite truck which is basically a cement mixer that sprays the cement mixed with sand and water onto the surface of the pool.  My pant leg got caught in the rotating mixer and I was being pulled up in the air.  At first my pants started ripping apart and then they were pulled completely off.  My only way to stop my leg from being pulled into the machine was to reach one of the sparkplugs and pull it out, killing the engine and shutting off the machine. I thought at the time, it might have maimed or killed me.
